pumpkins!!

Every year my family,nate,myself & my girls go to the pumpkin patch with my mom & sisters.this year was especially important knowing it may be the last chance we are all together for pumpkin picking because of our most likely move to tx next summer.my sisters agreed,& i got the girls ready in thie pumpkin shirts,Lillian picked out her stylish sequin boots to wear,we loaded up the wagon & off we went.it was such nice cool weather,violet wanted to pick up every pumpkin & lily enjoyed pulling baby sister around in the wagon.we found this perfect little pumpkin patch with a gazebo & everything!! only in Fl do your pumpkin patch pictures have palm trees in the background:)but we all had a great time & spent quality time together, & after Lily picked out her pumpkin she said,"YAY NOW WE CAN HAVE PUMPKIN PIE WITH OUR PUMPKIN" if only she knew mommy doesn't make pumpkin pie from an actual pumpkin ;)

My little,sassy,chatty,pretty,smart,awesome 5 year old started kindergarten today, ps can you tell i think highly of her because i do :) she was super excited,has been talking about going to school since last year & riding on the bus,although she's not riding on the bus quite yet. i asked her if she was scared & she replied no,wanted me to do her hair,i reminded her to eat her sandwich forst before her snacks,to use her manners,to be nice to the other kids,although she is so friendly & loving i'm not so worried about that one,but boy i'm a little sad to be sending her off alone,into the big world,all day along,without me, i knew it had to happen eventually but the time came too quickly! i didn't cry although if i think about it too much i just might! & violet did shed a few tears because she wanted to color with the crayons at the tables LOL but all in all everyone was happy :) in about 30 minutes i get to go sit in parent pick up line for an hr & a half,not looking forward to that but i'll bring some things to occupy violet & i & i can't wait to hear all about her first day in big girl school! :)

Graduation day!

Well my little girl has officially graduated from her VPK class & is on her way to kindergarten this fall,I can't believe it's been a yr already since she started pre-school

it only took me the better part of a year(it seems like) to finish this layout,ask my girls Ines & Renee,they know,i started this page awhile back & finally it is finished :) Love the way it turned out, using some beautiful my minds eye papers of my little daughter at 4 mths old :)

I am loving this g45 olde curiosity shoppe right now! the peacock feathers paper is what drew me in & so far it's been perfect for 2 layouts,and i only used a few sheets :)

Happy easter!

Easter is my favorite holiday, i know i say that about all of them,but they are all my favorites,we went on a few egg hunts this year,school,church,the big one on Easter,this was violets first year on the egg hunt and she loved finding one egg,stopping opening it up & looking for a treat & throwing it back on the ground,although she did put some in her basket & sister gave her some of her eggs ;) I love spring,the warm sunshine,cool breezes,egg hunts,it's all so wonderful!

Some recent layouts

Went and checked out a new scrapbook store opening yesterday,nice store & had a good day with my girls Ines & Renee :)Went back to Ines's house afterwards to crop yesterday & we didn't get one thing scrapbooked but we had fun chatting & shopping & eating & laughing :)I have been able to scrap here & there during nap time over the last couple weeks,got some journaling on the layouts,even used some old papers up so i'm feeling pretty productive :)

My baby's 5th birthday Rapunzel party :)

My little girl loves to dress like a princess,because let's face it,she is our princess ;) wears the fake rapunzel hair EVERYWHERE(sch,nursing home.. you name it LOL)and has loved the Rapunzel movie since the day we saw it in theaters so it was no surprise to me when she said she wanted a Rapunzel bday party,actually she wanted a Rapunzel/hello kitty birthday party but i reminded her she had hello kitty party for her 3rd bday so she was grudgingly okay with just Rapunzel. I have found different ideas all over the internet for all kinds of fun ideas,so i just combined them all into one perfect party for my princess! Her telling me 'it was the Best day ever!' made it all worthwhile :)

My little girl turned five!

Last Friday my baby turned 5!!!5 years since i became a mom,5 years since i held Love in it's purest form for the first time,where did those last 5 years go? She is the sweetest little girl i know,always trying to make others happy,always reaching out to others,always hugging,laughing,smiling,dancing.she is my little artist,constantly drawing,painting,coloring,you name it,we go through a TON of paper in this house! ;)Her imagination & creativity inspire me.she is the best big sister to violet,always sharing,loving,protecting her,spoiling her in kisses.they hug on each other constantly,it really makes me so truly happy. growing up, my sisters and I were close & back then i only hoped one day my kids would be close & these girls sure are :)My now five year old,can't wait to go to kindergarten this fall,wants to take karate,hasn't met a person she didn't like, and is such a little nurturer to all little animals :) Happy birthday my sweet girl,Mommy & Daddy love you to the ends of the world!

Bg weekly challenge

The challenge over at Basic Grey this week was two pictures,two different collections,2 or more word title,I used a pattern from out of print & some scraps from the porcelain collection & journaled about my youngest dd when she was 10 months :)
